High-performance computing (HPC) adds tremendous value to engineering simulation by enabling the creation of large, high-fidelity models that yield accurate and detailed insight into the performance of a proposed design. ANSYS HPC is tuned for optimum performance on the latest multi-core processors from Intel® and AMD. Outstanding Scaling

ANSYS HPC delivers outstanding scaling. The largest fluids benchmarks for software from ANSYS yield nearly linear scaling up to 2048 processors. This scalability reduces turnaround time from hours or days to just minutes. Mechanical simulations can achieve teraflop compute rates on hundreds of processors. Depending on problem size, ANSYS customers typically use 32 to 128 processors for fluids, while more complex mechanical simulations will use 16 to 32 cores.

Ease of Use

Choice of HPC Environments
